Embracing My Inner Slash
Slash!
If you are anything like me, the first thing that pops into your head when you hear the word "Slash" is Kordell Stewart. (Being like me means a
football junkie...I know you are out there.)
For those might not know (the sane ones), Kordell Stewart was a professional football player (now retired). He played quarterback for the CU
Buffaloes in college from 1991-1995. He helped that team to a very respectable record and two bowl wins.
Kordell Stewart was a naturally gifted athlete. So much so, that when he was drafted by
the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1995, he was asked to play a number of positions on the field. He didn't play quarterback in his rookie year. Instead, he became SLASH. Slash was so named because of his ability to
play so many positions including running back/slot receiver/wide receiver/punter. Stewart was very successful in that role. One could argue that he was significantly more successful as a slash player than he
ever was as a full-time quarterback.
You can start calling me Slash. With this newsletter announcement, I'm embracing my inner slash. I like appraising. I've worked hard to provide
honest, fast, and reliable appraisal services to my clients. In fact, over the Christmas break I completed all of the requirements to receive my Certified Residential Appraisal designation and applied for that
upgraded license.
But I am also a writer. I love writing. I love writing this newsletter, I love writing blogs, and I love writing website content. So in the spirit of Kordell Stewart, I am
publicly announcing my newly defined career as a writer/appraiser.
In addition to appraising, I am offering my services as a writer.
- Do you want a blog written in a timely and professional manner? I'm your man.
- Looking for new and original website content? Talk to me.
- Want to produce some new marketing materials for your business? I'll help you come up with and write your materials.
- Would you like a newsletter like this one for your clients? I'll sit with you, help come up with a concept, and write it for you.
I want to be more than your appraiser; I want to be your writer, too.
